## Jeffrey S. Tilson, CRPC®, AAMS®, AWMA®

John has 45+ years of experience in the investment business. He is a [**Certified Financial Analyst**](https://www.cfainstitute.org/programs/cfa) charter holder, and a [**Chartered Investment Counselor**](https://www.investmentadviser.org/resources/professional-designations/cic-designation) through the [**Investment Advisor Association**](https://www.investmentadviser.org/eweb/dynamicpage.aspx?webcode=cic). From 1983-2005, he was Managing Director and Executive Vice President of Pasadena Capital Corp. John co-managed the research/portfolio management department from 1983 to 1998. During his tenure, assets under management had grown from $160 million to over $5 billion by the time the firm was sold to Phoenix Companies in 1997. From 2005 to 2011, John consulted on client portfolio strategy and business development to a team of financial advisors in Orange County, CA. John since has provided economic and investment guidance for JST’s client portfolios.

Today, John does not engage any longer in day-to-day business activities at JST, his vast experience and wise insight proves invaluable time and time again. John is also a double graduate of the University of Southern California (Go Trojans)! with a bachelor degree focused on Real Estate and a MBA degree in Finance.
